The 30 inch pit is crafted from .65 mm heavy-gauge copper, the 30 inch copper bowl is made from .7 mm heavy-gauge copper.

Placed on a sturdy steel/metal frame with an elegant powder-coated finish, this fire pit features a removable screen for containing flying embers and a heavy-gauge log grate to ensure proper airflow for wood burning. The bowl is approximately 4 to 5 inches deep and will withstand temperatures up to 1700 degrees. Includes screen, lifting tool, log grate and cover. Copper will weather to a beautiful finish. Some minor assembly is required.

Cooking over this copper pit is completely safe as there are no chemicals used in the base metal; however, for your safety the units are cleaned with a solvent prior to packaging. To make absolutely certain that all residual solvent is gone, you should burn a normal fire in the pit. After this first fire, the pit is primed and ready for cooking
